The purpose of homework is to help the students establish a study routine and reinforce the concepts and skills taught in class. Please check folders every night and return homework and/or important notices the following day unless stated otherwise. Please review work sent home each day.

Daily Homework
Your child should:
  • Know their address and phone number
  • Practice writing their first and last name
  • Recognize upper and lower case letters of the alphabet 
  • Recognize consonant and vowel sounds
  • Blend sounds into words
  • Read and recognize HF words and the CVC words that were given out at orientation. 
  • Recognize and write numbers from 0-31
  • Practice number order
  • Skip count by twos, fives and tens. 
  • Review each day's work with a grown up 

Tonight's Homework

Math - Study counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s.

Language Arts - Practice High Frequency Words (HFW)
